Sandwell Valley Visitor Centre now offers improved accessibility, free access to the courtyard, the Courtyard Kitchen with a new menu and additional seating, a new countryside shop, activities and events, a museum showcasing the history of Sandwell Priory and the wider Sandwell Valley Estate and a rabbit village.

New bike trails have been opened in the Country Park and the former Hill Top Golf Course in Birmingham.

They come as part of the 2022 Commonwealth Games Legacy Project, ensuring that the benefits to the local area will last for decades to come, boosting health, inspiring people and enhancing the sports legacy for Sandwell, Birmingham and the wider Black Country. Find out more on the Cycling page.
