Sandwell 50 Photographic Exhibition - By Sandwell Archives

About

As Sandwell celebrates 50 years, a free photographic exhibition is touring Sandwell Libraries over the coming weeks. On each of the Fridays, starting at 11am, there will be a talk about the exhibition, as well as the opportunity to view some fascinating archive material from Sandwell Archives Service.

The free exhibition launched on Friday (19 July) at Central Library, West Bromwich, and will then move to other towns across Sandwell.

After visiting Central Library, the exhibition will then travel to the following libraries:

•            Tipton Library (Friday 26 July – Thursday 1 August)

•            Wednesbury Library (Friday 2 August – Thursday 8 August)

•            Oldbury Library (Friday 9 August – Thursday 15 August)

•            Blackheath Library (Friday 13 September – Thursday 19 September)

•            Smethwick Library (Friday 20 September – Thursday 26 September)

Join us in celebrating the people and places that made Sandwell the borough it is today!
