About

Oldbury library relocated in 2021 to its present site in Sandwell Council House, with the town market and shops right outside. Jack Judge, who wrote “It’s a Long Way to Tipperary” was born in the town and has a building (former home of the library) named after him.

You will find a selection of books for all ages, along with computers and free wi-fi. There are learning sessions, such as basic ICT, careers advice and more.

There is a children’s section with regular activities going on, especially in school holidays.

Our friendly staff will help you find what you’re after, whether that’s a book or information on any subject.
