OldburyREP is Sandwell’s only purpose-built theatre, providing a variety of productions which have earned it a reputation for quality and value.
During 2019-20 the Company is celebrated its 80th season and has recently completed a major upgrade of its sound and lighting capabilities as well as continuing with ongoing improvements to its backstage and front of house facilities.
The Theatre now has its own bar, fully equipped rehearsal room/studio theatre and wardrobe block together with its 173 seat main auditorium. In addition to its commitment to live theatre the company hosts a wide range of visiting companies and is a main venue for concerts by Langley Brass Band.
Facilities
The Theatre provides a licensed bar and coffee shop with a range of hot and cold drinks prior to the performance during the interval and post- performance. Interval drinks can be ordered prior to the performance.
There is ramp access from the car park into the theatre, and ground floor access into the main auditorium with space for six wheelchairs. The bar, coffee shop and toilets are easily accessed. Please notify the Box Office of your requirements when booking. We are unable to guarantee disabled availability unless by prior arrangement. We regret that there is no wheelchair access to our Studio theatre.
