About
In 1994 guitarist Jamie Thyer decided to put together a rhythm section – the Worried Men – with the intention of rehearsing, but little expectation of breaking into the rock scene – too much originality, too much integrity! To their surprise enthusiastic audiences and promoters proved them wrong and 30 years later they have clocked up 4,000 gigs – from pub back room to festival stages.
Their live album, Fear and Loathing at the Wunder Bar, opened the way to playing the likes of London’s Marquee and Nottingham’s Rock City alongside Chicken Shack, Wilko Johnson and Jefferson Starship, among many others. Still touring widely in the UK and Ireland, the band continues to excite audiences.
